Our Foal Sales Policy:

Prices and terms subject to change at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse any sale for any reason at any time.
Foals are sold "as is."
We require 50% of the asking price as deposit to hold a foal. The balance must be paid in full at weaning time; which is usually weather and growth dependent but around the first week of September-first week of October.
When making deposits/payments we have contracts to be signed, please >>contact us<< for further information. This is to cover us and buyer to make sure everything is understood upon purchasing said foal(s).
Foals will be haltered, leading, picking up their hooves, and will have been loaded in our trailer at weaning. ** This does not mean your new foal will be 'puppy dog friendly' as soon as you get them home. Keep in mind that it takes time for them to settle into their new home, get used to new trailers, people & different environment. It takes lots of handling/training to form a quality bond with your new foal.
All foals will be de-wormed and will have had their first farrier trims before they leave.
Vaccinations can be done at the buyers request -no additional charge.
Unless posted as a 'stallion prospect' all colts will be gelded before leaving, and that is included in the purchase price.
Registration/transfer papers will not be given to the buyer until the horse leaves and all financial obligations; including purchase price and board; have been paid.
Buyers are responsible for cost of transportation (and if applicable coggins test & health papers for USA & international buyers)
All deposits are non-refundable. -If you change your mind and decide not to take the foal(s) you loose all moneys that you have put down on the foal.
When the foal has been weaned our buyers will be notified of such and will have 1 week to arrange pick up/delivery for your foal after weaning. (unless otherwise agreed upon arrangements have been made between the buyer/seller.)
The buyer will need to notify White Acres Ranch (before the deposit is sent) if special arrangements need to be made for boarding or transportation. * If said foal(s) are not picked up upon agreed upon date 'board fees will be charged' of either $3.50/day or $100/month whichever is applicable.
We do accept payments on foals, we do have a different type of purchase agreement for a payment plan. Foal must be "Paid in full" before the foal leaves our ranch. (any fees).
We accept cash, bank transfers; no personal cheques please!
White Acres Ranch is not responsible for horses after they have left the ranch. You are encouraged to get a vet check on your foal before purchasing. Buyers will get lots of pictures and sometimes video of said foal when you inquire and its your decision to take or not.
Upon the arrival of the first said payment or full payment the buyer then assumes all risk of loss of or injury to foal/foals. In the event in which said foal/foals pass away or are extremely injured past treatment as determined by our veterinarian. Buyer will be given the opportunity to replace said foal/foals with a horse or foal of same value that have been agreed upon by the seller, or receive a refund within 30 days.
** Unless sellers are the direct cause of injury or loss of said foal(s) all monies would then be refunded within 30 days.**
We encourage buyers to put insurance on foal(s) that have been purchased.
There will be NO Holds unless a deposit has been made. First come, first served.
